about

Kallet was originally a piece I wrote for the band Ehwaz twenty years ago. We never recorded it, but we used it as the opening of our market concerts, starting at opposite sides of the market area, calling and answering closer and closer until all gathered at the concert place, then it went into impro- mode.
Again, some of you may have heard it performed with the bands Ehwaz or Skvalthr throughout the years.

Kjell Braaten Bergen, Norway

I BELIEVE IN MUSIC AS A CROSS
CULTURAL GLOBAL LANGUAGE

Music moves. Music speaks, and music is like a language that expresses things spoken words can not.
It is a multilanguage that all human beings can understand no matter what culture, religion, or region you come from.
I compose for theatre, movies, and live performances, and I perform on stage both solo and other projects.
