Absolutely one of the best Germanic folk albums ever made. The passion and range behind the vocals of each of Gealdýr's songs is immediately evident and perhaps unrivaled in this genre. Listening to this feels like you're confronting a Seer who sings somberly of an impending doom in Ragnarök, mourning what is to be lost yet still in awe of the sheer magnitude of the end. If Sól was Gealdýr's Muspelheim, then Eptir Ragnarök is his Nifelheim: each an inverse of the other in mood, but not quality.
